Agreement

By creating an account, uploading content, publishing a portfolio, or otherwise using CVfy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

CVfy may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated through the service when required by law.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for activity under your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of resumes, profile information, images, links, testimonials, and portfolio content you upload or enter. You grant CVfy a limited license to host, store, process, display, transform, and publish that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and publish your content, including any photos, logos, work samples, links, testimonials, or third-party materials.

AI output and portfolio accuracy

CVfy uses automated systems to parse resumes and draft portfolio content. AI-generated or extracted content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or formatted incorrectly.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and publishing your portfolio. CVfy does not guarantee interviews, jobs, clients, ranking, income, or any professional outcome.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, hateful, abusive, infringing, confidential, or malware-containing content.
• Do not upload resumes, images, private information, or work samples that you do not have permission to use.
• Do not use CVfy to impersonate another person, misrepresent credentials, scrape the service, bypass security, overload infrastructure, or interfere with other users.
• Do not use the service for regulated decisions, background checks, credit, housing, insurance, medical, legal, financial, or employment screening decisions.

Published pages and third-party links

If you publish a portfolio, the page and its public content may be visible to anyone with the URL and may be indexed, cached, copied, screenshotted, or shared outside CVfy. You are responsible for what you choose to make public.

CVfy may link to third-party websites or depend on third-party infrastructure. CVfy is not responsible for third-party content, policies, outages, or services.

Availability and changes

CVfy may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We try to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVfy is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVfy and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, reputational harm, service interruption, or employment-related outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVfy's total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to CVfy in the 12 months before the claim or 100 USD.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CVfy and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your published portfolio, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Termination

You may stop using CVfy at any time. CVfy may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the service unlawfully. Some provisions, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions, survive termination.

Governing law and contact
